Overview
Wild Radar is designed to help users discover outdoor potential points on a map and open third-party navigation apps for routing.
This page explains what information may be processed when you use the app.
Information We Collect
Wild Radar does not require account registration and does not collect personal identity information for app usage.
- Device location, when the user grants location permission
- Current map center and visible map range, to request nearby POIs
- Selected category filters, to refine POI results
- Coordinates of selected POIs, when opening reverse geocoding or navigation
How We Use Information
- Center the map on the user’s current location
- Query POIs in the current visible area
- Rank and filter outdoor POIs
- Show reverse geocoding details for a selected POI
- Open the selected destination in a navigation app
Third-Party Services
Wild Radar may send coordinate and filter data to third-party services required by the app’s functionality, including:
- Overpass API for POI retrieval
- System and third-party navigation apps opened by the user
- System geocoding services used for reverse geocoding
These services are operated by third parties and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
Wild Radar does not store a history of your locations or searches on our servers.
Any temporary request data is used only for the current session and is not intended to be retained beyond the function it serves.
Permission Control
Location access is optional and can be disabled in system settings. If location access is denied, map centering on the current location may not be available.
Children’s Privacy
Wild Radar is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be published at the privacy URL listed in the Support document.
